- Although I think I'm on the right track here, lemme throw this out and see
- if anyone else has done this. If so, please (F)ollowup and lemme know what
- to watch out for...
-
- I have a Linux box that's connected full time to my ISP via SLIP. Works
- perfect and I'm very happy. I have an Amiga that I USE and many of my
- projects require processing by both systems.
-
- I've been using sneaker-net (appropriate technologies and all that) but now
- the data transfer is taking more time than the projects themselves.
-
- What I thought I'd do is null-modem the two systems together, set up an
- internal domain and use the builtin tcp/ip on the Linux side and AmiTCP on
- the Amiga side to actually network.
-
- Although I haven't looked at the docs of AmiTCP, it seems doable to me. I
- look forward to hearing any comments.
